A credible road safety system layers controls:

• Journey management with authorization and check-ins
• IVMS / speed monitoring with consequence management
• Daily vehicle inspection with defect quarantine
• Driver fit-for-work and fatigue rules that are enforced
• Night-driving restrictions with documented exceptions

Overspeed events, seatbelt observations and violation logs are only useful when trended: per driver, per route, per month. One page of KPIs presented at the monthly HSE meeting converts raw tracker data into coaching decisions — and into tender evidence of a working system.
